New for the 2022 Jeep Renegade
This year, Jeep has made several changes to the Renegade and its trims. Gone is the standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, making the turbocharged four-cylinder the only powertrain. Jeep has also dropped several trims but added a new RED Edition and Altitude package that includes black interior and exterior elements. Speaking of the interior, Jeep has also replaced its 7-inch touch screen with a new 8.4-inch model that comes with built-in navigation.
Features of the 2022 Jeep Renegade
With four available trims, each one is powered by the same turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine that’s able to produce 177 horsepower and 190 pounds of torque. Each trim is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, and AWD is optional on most trims, except for the Latitude, where it comes standard.
