New
RAM 1500 Towing Capability
The new RAM
1500 is a light-duty pickup truck that's ready to take your Nashua
area challenges head-on. If you want to take charge around town and have an
easy time with your hard work, then a new RAM 1500 can certainly fit the
bill.
In fact, your new RAM 1500 can be outfitted with five different
engines to get the level of performance that's tailored for your specific
needs. The most powerful engine available with the new RAM 1500 is the
Supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® V8 engine, which is only available on the RAM 1500
TRX model. With this engine, you can achieve up to 702 horsepower, 650 pound-feet
of torque, and a maximum top speed of 118 miles per hour. At the other end of
the spectrum, the standard engine for the RAM 1500 is the 3.6-iter Pentastar®
V6 engine, which provides plenty of standard power with 305 horsepower and 269
pound-feet of torque.
But if you want to tow as much weight as you can, then the engine for
you is the available 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine with eTorque. This engine is
capable of delivering powerful performance for your trips around Bedford in the
form of 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. With this amount of power
and efficiency, you can take control of a new RAM 1500 with its most powerful
towing capability - up to 12,750 pounds.
