Performance in the Daytona Scat Pack Trim

The electric Scat Pack model will come with a standard Direct Connection Stage 2 Upgrade that will deliver output of 670 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. The coming 2024 Charger Daytona Scat Pack will also include the Track package that adds red Brembo six-piston front and four-piston rear brakes, dual-valve adaptive dampers and a gloss black rear spoiler. The Scat Pack will roll with 20-inch aluminum wheels wearing hefty 325/35R-20 all-season tires. Dodge says this trim can get to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and it will hit the quarter-mile in 11.5 seconds.

Interior and exterior options in the Dodge Charger Daytona

If you go with the $75,000 Scat Pack trim you'll be getting 12-way power-adjustable performance seats that include four-way lumbar support, heated rear seats, leather upholstery and a data and video recording system. The Charger Daytona will also have a number of special packages. The $5000 Plus Group will add a powered rear hatch, a wireless charging pad, LED headlights and a 16-inch digital gauge cluster. For about $1100, the R/T can come with a Blacktop package with dark wheels and exterior badging. A Sun & Sound option gives you a full glass roof and an Alpine sound system with 18 speakers.

The Scat Pack will be available with a Carbon and Suede package that distributes those materials around the cabin. The Scat Pack can also be upgraded with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 summer tires that measure 305/35ZR-20XL in front and 325/35ZR-20 at the rear, all for about $700 extra.

Charging times and driving range

The R/T model will have an estimated all-electric driving range of about 320 miles in ideal weather conditions. The Scat Pack model will have an estimated driving range of about 260 miles, also when weather conditions are optimum. Of course, both driving range numbers are considerably less than the most recent gas-powered Dodge Charger with a driving range of up to 555 miles on a full tank of gas.

A standard Level 1 cable can fully charge the battery in about 7.5 hours using a 120-volt outlet. If you spend the money to install a Level 2 charger it can fully re-energize the battery in about 2.5 hours.
